Afternoon Routine: Wake up child slowly & repeat. Replace breakfast with lunch. Walk at this time can be adjusted to going on an adventure, playing in the yard or simply indoor play. Children love to feel involved; part of the family. What we think as chores is a really fun & great fine-motor skill experience for little ones.

Why NCS/Nannying?
Before diving deep into the world of childcare, I used to work in Entertainment at Six Flags New England. We would perform for thousands of guests each day. Meet & greets were meant for our guests, of all ages, to create memories with their favorite characters. I always wanted those special moments to last longer. These children very much deserved more than 3 minutes of my time. I yearned for a deeper bond. Through my work as a NCS/Nanny, I can create those memories & special moments everyday on a much more personal level.

Does NBCC have experience caring for children with disabilities?
Growing up, I was aware of my brother’s (ASD) Autism Spectrum Disorder; previously known as Asperger’s Syndrome. My previous partner of 14 years has (ADHD) Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder; previously known as (ADD) Attention Deficit Disorder. While working in children’s theatre, I had many brief interactions with children of different disabilities. Experience I have while nannying is when I cared for twins who are both hard of hearing resulting in proper, daily hearing aid care. I also cared for a child who had a speech delay.

Continuing Education
Asking for donations has never been my forte. However, education is very important to me. With greater knowledge, I wish to provide little ones with the best possible start in having a bright future. My endeavors include the Maternal & Child Nutrition Certificate from CWRU - School of Medicine and the Educator in Infant Massage Certification from Infant Massage USA. Of course, a lending hand in helping support my new business, Newborn Cali Care, would be an absolute blessing along with the infinite list of childcare books I’d love to read & write.
“Cali is committed to her own learning in ways that help her meet the needs of the children she cares for.” - NBCC Family
If you are unable to donate at this time, I kindly ask that you share this website along to your friends & family. I have dedicated many years into all aspects of building this business.
Please & thank you. You are truly amazing!
